how can i force outlook 2007 to keep a zoom setting of 125% for my emails? i
like to sit back a bit from my monitor, and this would make reading so much
easier.

thanks!

Did you ever solve this problem? I have a new laptop with a high res display
and the font size on incoming html emails is impossibly small. It seems that
one should be able to set an default zoom level.

nothing yet. i'm doing it the "old fashioned way", and holding down ctrl and
rolling the mouse. it's a pain in the butt, but i hate the small text. i like
to sit far back from my screen and read large text.

there is the quick access ribbon that you can customize, which i've done
too, but i have to resize after i delete a message and go to the next one.

ANYONE WITH A SUGGESTION? i guess i'm looking for a registry edit, since
i've gone through all of outlook to no avail.

For high res screens, you change your DPI setting in the Display Properties.
Go to Control Panel / Display / Settings tab / Advanced button. Then under
DPI Setting, change it to Large size (120 DPI). Note that this will make all
font on your PC 125% of it's normal size.

hope that helps...

i just tried the DPI setting changed the windows menus, etc., but did not
affect the email font size.

any other suggestions?
