Permit repeat (ctrl+y) of text highlight in Word

Product feature suggestion: allow “Edit | Repeat†(ctrl+y) function to be
used for text highlighting in Word.

If you use Format>Borders and Shading to apply the highlight, then Ctrl+y
does repeat the action. However, I am not sure that using Ctrl+y is any
easier that re-clicking on the icon on the toolbar, particularly if you are
using the mouse to select the text.

But text shading is not the same as highlighting. For one thing, it cannot
be be searched for (highlighting can). Also, highlighting offers the option
of being displayed/printed or not; text shading doesn't offer this option.
