Permissions to MS 2002 database

Installed MS 2003. Attempted to open MS 2002 DBS and
received following message:

You do not have the necessary permissions to use the
following database......... Have system admin or person
who created database establish appropriate permissions.

I'm the owner.....

You're trying to open a secured database. You must have the workgroup (.mdw)
file that was used to secure the 2002 db, as well as a valid user/pass. Open
the db with this information, and you should get in.

I am having the same problem. I never created a password
or tried to secure my database. MDB file was created in
Access95 and worked fine all the way throught XP. The
other day, I cinverted to 2003, and poof - I can't open.
