permissions for local groups from NT4.0 Domain

I want to share some folders on my Win2000 Server (it is a
standalone server in a NT 4.0 Domain) for a special domain
local group. The domain local group is created on the NT
4.0 PDC.
But the domain local group is not shown under permissions
in Windows 2000.
Why?
 
Because domain local groups in NT4 don't have scope beyond the domain controllers. That functionality doesn't exist
until you go into W2K Domain Native Mode.
