On XP Home I have the following properties in my local area connection.
Client for Microsoft Networks
Service advertising Protocol
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
QoS Packer Scheduler
NWLink NetBIOS
NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

On Windows Home Premium I have the following properties

Client for Microsoft Networks
QoS Packet Scheduler
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
Internet Protocal Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper I/O Driver
Link-Layer Topology Discovery Responder.

I have made it a Private Network from my Vista Home Premium Laptop.
I also have the following settings in my Network and Sharing Center on my
Vista Home Premium Laptop.
Network discovery: On
File Sharing: On
Public folder sharing: On
Printer sharing: Off (no printers installed)
Password protected sharing: Off
Media sharing: Off.

On both Computers in the Registry Editor:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_SYSTEM
..CurrentControlSet
...Control
....Lsa
Both the values of "Restrictanonymous" is set to 0.

Also in the Registry Editor
Windows Vista Home Premium:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
..Network ... Right clicked for Permissions
In Security I have the Following Groups or Usernames
* RESTRICTED (Read, Allow box ticked)
* SYSTEM (Full Control, Allow box ticked. Read, Allow box ticked)
* MH (Full Control, Allow box ticked. Read, Allow box ticked)
* Administrators (Full Control, Allow box ticked. Read, Allow box ticked)

Windows XP Home Edition
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
..Network ... Right clicked for Permissions
In Security I have the Following Groups or Usernames
* Administrators (Full Control, Allow box ticked. Read, Allow box ticked)
* RESTRICTED (Read, Allow box ticked)
* S-1-5-21-715562426-2750284587-3644965726-1006 (Full Control, Allow box
ticked. Read, Allow box ticked)
* SYSTEM (Full Control, Allow box ticked. Read, Allow box ticked)
The network cards are the following:
Vista: Realtek RTL8168/8111 Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0),
using driver version 6.186.1103.2006
XP: Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection, using driver verison 7.0.26.0
Here is the problem.
Both the computers can now see each other, on my XP Home Edition PC I can
access the files I have set to share and copy them from Vista Home Premium
onto the XP Home Edition PC, however I cannot access my XP Home Edition PC
from my Vista Home Premium Laptop.

When I double click on the XP Home Edition PC I get the following error
message.

\\FAMILY is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you
have access permissions.

Logon failuer: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at
this computer.

Assistance would be very much appreciated.
