Permission for Power Management

Hi,

To modify the global power scheme at least Power User privilege is
required. Is it possible to grant this privilege to normal users?

I had this link bookmarked but have not tried it myself yet. It involves changing

Thanks for the tip.

It works that I can now grant privilege for modifying global power
policy. But there is still a problem that processor speed for Intel
Centrino laptops can't be tweaked even I grant the full control
permission of HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Controls
Folder\PowerCfg\ProcessorPolicies.
