Permission for a database on the access 2007 version

Hi,

How can I change the permission for a database on the access 2007 version?

I had Access databases created on the Access 2003 version and I have to
update the program time by time. Now I have Access 2007 version on my
computer and the only right I have is to view the database. How can I change
the permit so that I can modify the database again? Thanks!
