What do you mean by "normal"? Plain Text or HTML?
"I know how to do it per each message, but I need to default permanently so
I don't have to do it everytime."
Could you post the exact steps you are using for this?

Outlook 2003
Message format - normal
Outlook as e-mail editor
It's my mom's computer, and I am not near it, so I think I've gotten this
information right.
When she clicks on "reply", she wants the message to be shorter in width to
keep her text closer together -
Any ideas? Thanks - K

I am trying to make all the text just half the width of the page when both
creating a new message or replying to one.
I know how to do it per each message, but I need to default permanently so
I
don't have to do it everytime.
Any suggestions -
Thanks - K
