Permanently Deleting filtered rows

Can someone please tell me how to permanently delete the filtered rows from
the same sheet so that the row numbers at left are re-aligned as
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc instead of 1,5,9 etc. Specially when you are dealing
with large data of 179,000 lines. I have already tried to copy and paste to
new sheet but it does not work in large data.
Thanks

Hi,
if you want to copy filtered data, select the data, hit CTRL G, special,
visible cells only, then go to next sheet and paste it

if this helps please click yes, thanks

Hi
I tried this but it says "data is too complex". Basically it works for small
data but not for large data range.

Filter for the opposite of what you are filtering now... then delete
those rows... and undo filter.

Hi
I tried this but again it only works for small data range. It will either
not delete rows or delete the whole data including the filtered one.
