Performance lag

I did two things with my MS Access 2002 app:
1) Opened the ADO library (so that both ADO and DAO are
active). I think I have disambiguated everything.
2) Made lots of field name changes in forms and reports.
It is running extremely slow now.
How would you diagnose the problem or address the issue?

Hi Josh,

First make sure that you have disabled the Name Autocorrect feature - it
causes a huge performance hit. (Tools->Options, under the General tab
uncheck 'track name auto correct information'). Compact, close and reopen
