Perform_Window Issue

Sometimes when I am switching from one identity to another in Outlook
Express nothing happens and I can no longer use Outlook Expresss until I
restart the system. When I attempt to restart the system, while Windows is
attempting to close down, I get a message saying "Perform_Window is not
responding" which indicates to me that this is where Outlook Express is
hanging. This is a recent occurence and worked fine for months before.

Can anyone shed any light as to what this program/process is why it might be
hanging? Is it something I can eliminate? TIA

A Google search doesn't give any hits on this error message. I suggest you
post to an Outlook Express newsgroup such as:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
