percentage formula

i have to calculate the 30% of some amount in the following formate
col1 col2 col3
amount 30% total
waiting for urgent response from you people
thanks alot
 
Let's say your data is in the following cells:

a2, b2, c2

In cell b2, enter =a2*.30.
In cell c2, enter =a2+b2
