Percent Field

I'm sure I must be overlooking something very simple, but I have a field
formatted Percent and everytime I enter 25 it displays 2500% and returns
$2500.00 on a 100 amount. I understand with Access for percent, just enter
decimal first, but when I do this 0.00% is displayed and a $0.00 amount is
returned on the 100 amount. I've entered the percent amount several
different ways, have changed formats, nothing seems to work. I've read thru
other posts and can't find a solution. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

25 % is .25

Yes, I know this, but what I'm trying to say is that I have no problem
entering .25 for 25%. I just want it to calculate when I do. Nothing
happens when I enter .25. The percent formatted field displays 0% and the
calculated field is 0.00. If I enter 25 (whole number), it displays 2500%
and a calcualtion of $2500.00.

Never mind, I figured it out. I changed the number field size to single on
the table.
