One nice feature of Windows Vista is that I can control volume of each
applications.
For example (this is a real story), there was a stupid game
installation program which played unpleasant background music during
lengthy installation and didn't allow me to turn it off. I was watching
a video file at that time so I couldn't turn the entire system volume
off. I had to hear that unpleasant bgm.
Windows Vista provides per-application volume control, but Windows XP
doesn't as far as I know. Is there any third party program that
enables this under Windows XP?
