Pentium 4 with Hyperthreading, but only one CPU in Task Manager

Hi, all

We have several identical computers at work, all with Windows XP Pro
installed (some SP1, others SP2). They all have one Pentium 4 with HT.

On 2 of the computers, Task Manager shows 2 CPUs, but on one computer it
only shows 1 CPU - but in Device Manager on that same PC it shows 2 CPUs?!?

The quirky machine has SP1 - but so does one of the other PCs.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

If you go into Task Manager, then select the Performance Tab, select
the View option, then select CPU Option, does it show One Graph per CPU
as being selected? If you have the One Graph for all CPUs selected it
will only show one graph.
