peer to peer w/windows 20000

I have 2 Windows 2000 Professional. I want to set up 1 as
a host with a shared folder. The other windows 2000
professional needs to access this shared folder. The
workgroup name on both computer is the generic "WORKGROUP"
They each have a static ip on a ethernet network. The host
already has the specific folder setup as being shared to
EVERYONE. I don't know how to connect to the host from the
requesting windows 2000 professional machine.

I think what you need is Start - Run, then in the Run dialog box, enter
\\ipnumber\sharename and OK. This will open an Explorer window with the
shared folder in it.

Instead of ipnumber, you can use the Windows name if you prefer.
