Peer to peer Cable Help

I want to make sure I buy the right cable. I'm connecting 2 computer
directly using w2k.
I understand I need a cross over
cable to connect 2 computers but am unsure whether I need a 10baseT or a
100baseT.

One computer has a 3Com Etherlink 10/100 NIC, the other has a Realtek
RTL8139/810X Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC.

You just need a Cat 5 crossover cable - this cable works with 10baseT and
100baseT networks.
