PE settings: don't survive reboot

I've posted this in the SysInternals forum too, but hopefully someone here
in this rather more active group can advise please?

In Process Explorer I changed the order of a few columns and resized a bit
then saved using View > Save Column Set...

If I closed and restarted PE, the last appearance was correctly restored,
and View > Load Column Set... still offered the option I'd saved.

But after a PC reboot (XP Pro), not only had the default appearance
returned but there was nothing in View > Load Column Set...

Are you using Norton ?
