PDF???

I have a workstation which can not download PDF files. A security pop up
comes up and says access is denide. Why? How do I fix this?

Download from where? A network drive? A web site? Is it just this
particular PDF or do you have this problem with *all* PDFs? Is it just
this particular PC that cannot download the PDF or can you not download
it from other PCs as well? Need to provide more detail.

It could be that the PDF file's security is set such that it cannot be
downloaded. If that is the case, there must be a good reason for it.

This problem is only on one PC and I have yet to figure out what the problem
is. Though I have been reading a lot of information about adobe and vista, I
have reinstalled adobe and now waiting to see if that might fix the problem.
I could not open any PDF file on the internet I would either get a blank
screen or I would get a security message. I have to have this fixed and I am
trying everything I can to get this CP running right. What can you sugest?

Are you using IE7?
in Protected mode?
Try turning protected mode off
Tools - Internet Options - Security
uncheck "Enable Protected mode"
ok
close and restart IE
