PDF freeware

I have some documents, in PDF format, that have to signed, but can
only be emailed back in a pdf format.

Is there any pdf freeware that will convert a scanned document to a
pdf file?

Is there any pdf freeware that will allow me to edit a pdf file and
insert an image file?

Many thanks

==== OpenOffice will take a scanned document or picture and export it
as a PDF,
I'm not sure about adding a picture though, it depends on your scanner
, some all in ones (like mine) will convert a scanned document to a
text file , then you could open it in OpenOffice ad the pictures and
extract it as a PDF ========

Tomahawk PDF

Free for personal use.
Save your scanned doc in rich text (rtf) import with Tomahawk PDF and
convert. Tomahawk will also edit.

i agree, primoPDF is the best pdf creator.

for cutePDF, i can't extract any text from any pdf file created by
cutePDF, so i have to give up cutePDF...

I like PrimoPDF Does the job really well, and allows a selection for .PDF's
viewable for Screen or for Print.

Kia ora.
I just downloaded and installed PrimoPDF and it didn't work.
I get the option to Print to PrimoPDF and then nothing happens.
Using Word 2003.
(In Excel 2003 in just prints to Ne00)

What am I missing ?

My thinking:

(1) PromoPDF is more stable than PDFCreator

(2) Some table border in document can't be coverted into PDF properly
using PDFcreator. In PDF file created by PDFCreator, there borders
look different.

Of course, PDFCreator is more powerful than PrimoPDF.
