PDF Files and pdf.ocx

I've found since installing XP SP2 that more often than not downloading and
reading a PDF causes IE6 to crash and a warning coming up that there is a
problem with the PDF.OCX addin...... I run Acrobat 5 but have Acrobat Reader

Some people have reported that uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe helped. Here are the other options:
