PDF Attachments to emails in Outlook open in Excel

Whenever I attempt to open an Attachment to an email in Outlook it opens in
Excel and is garbed - Can someone tell me how to get it to open in Acrobat
Reader
 
Outlook uses the default file handler as you have configured in Windows.
Depending on your version of Windows, you'd either change it in;
Start-> Control Panel-> Folder Options-> tab File Types
or
Start-> Default Programs-> Associate a file type or protocol with a program
