PCMCIA FireWire card problems

Hello.
I have a PCMCIA Firewire card for my laptop (Plug&Play).
Everything is ok but whenever i disconnect my camera ( unplug the cable ) my
computer freezes and i cannot do a thing, only forced shutdown ( from power
button )
Can anyone help me on this PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!

Turn the camera off before pulling the plug? Try disable it in Device
Manager before disconnecting.
