PCI-X and PCI-Express x16

Yay Deutschland!

Can some one help me clear up a bit of confusion here?

I have a computer with a server board inside and it has 3 of the blue-green
color marked PCI-X 64bit 100MHz slots inside along with 2 white PCI-64bit
66MHz slots. (The really long PCI slots if you don't know what I am talking
about.) The system comes with a integrated Rage XL 8MB PCI chip, which I
want to disable and install a better card inside. I have seen companies that
manufacture "PCI-X" videocards, now my question is: are they referring to
the PCI-X 100MHz slots or are they talking about PCI-Express x16 slots?

My Second question: Do both PCI-Express x16 cards AND PCI-X 100MHz cards
exist?

Thanks

Yay Deutschland!

That clears things up alot =) Given that, does any one here know of a
regular PCI-32bit that will fit into the PCI-X 100MHz slots? I noticed that
the PCI-X 100MHz has an extra notch at the front, therefore it needs a PCI
card with that notch cut for it so that it will fit.

From what I read, the notch is to prevent the insertion of really old 5 V
PCI cards. Most PCI cards found today are 3.3 V, and should work fine. It
shouldn't be difficult to find photos of the card you want online, just to
make sure.
