I am trying to boot a system using Windows XP Home. I
keep getting an error that says "Windows can't start
because the following file is missing or corrupt:
system32\drivers\pci.sys

How do I repair this error?

Boot to the Win XP cd. Make sure that the cd drive is first in the boot order
in the bios. You'll see a "Press any key to boot from cd" message if it is
the first device. Then do a repair, reinstallation or use the Recovery
Console and follow these directions:
