PCI simple communications controller

Does anyone know where to find drivers for this device
which is integrated on my Asus motherboard.

"PCI simple communications controller," as you surmised, is
usually the term the OS applies to an unidentified modem. Have you
downloaded and installed the Win2K-specific modem drivers from the
modem manufacturer's web site?
