Hi, when I switch on my PC it doesn't find the bootup drive. But........if I
leave it 5 mins then switch off and on again it finds the bootup drive OK and
starts.
Any ideas please.

Perhaps hard drive is not spinning up fast enough to be recognized the
first time.

Is the PC old?

If this just started and it has some age to it, I'd be a bit concerned.

If everything is new and good, sometimes the BIOS will have a setting
allowing for longer "spinup" time which might help. Ordinarily, though,
this isn't a problem.

I would definitely keep my backups up to date if I were you. (which I
always recommend anyway :) )
