Pc Freezes

Good morning

I've got a client with this problem:
Hardware: Intel Pentium 4 2.4ghz 800fsb
MSI Neo2 Motherboard
2 x 256mb ddr 400 Ram
Expervision ATI Radeon 9600xt 128mb with latest Catalyst drivers
3 Com 10/100mb Network card.
Sony DVD Rom
LG CD writer

Software: Windows XP Pro + sp1
DirectX9.0b
latest Catalyst drivers
Call of Duty (Game)
Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour (Game)
Medal of Honor Breakthrough (Game)
Homeworld 2 (Game)
All original software.

When he plays the games on a network, the pc freezes at random. If the games are played in single player and not on the network, there's no problem. So I thought it could be the network card, and replaced it, but the problem still occurs.
Anybody got any suggestions?

Hi

Have you got all the latest XP compliant drivers for your hardware from the
manufacturer's web site(s)?

Try using the ATI drivers that are the version *before* the latest
Catalyst ones.

I've tried up and until three versions back

Sorry, then, unless you can find some commonality in the network play,
I'm out of ideas. Is this with all network games or just one? You sound
like a very savvy person, so I'm sure you've researched all the games
he's playing, if it's on one particular multiplayer server, etc.

Good luck,

Malke
