PC does not boot after an SDI installation

Hi Malven,

So far I have not seen disk that is not damaged that can't pass phase 6.

1. Use DOS fdisk to partition HDD.
2. Use fdisk to MARK first partition as ACTIVE.
3. Use format to format volumes you want.
4. Use bootprep to place valid bootloader that will load ntldr in first
volume.
5. copy ntldr and multi entry with timeout boot.ini.
6. Make sure that HDD is booting to multi os choice screen.

Also test following:

1. Use DOS fdisk to partition HDD.
2. Use fdisk to MARK first partition as ACTIVE.
3. Use format c: /s to format active volume and make it dos bootable.
4. try to boot your device from HDD.

If this does not work then forget on your disk. If it is working then phase
6 also must work.

Regards,
Slobodan
