PC Boots up into ie7

When has pc has finished booting up it opens ie7 I've tried a couple of
things but can't stop it. I know you used to be able to open up the last
program you were using older versions of windows.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Right click the Start button and choose Explore. Under Programs you should
see Startup. Click that and remove and shortcuts to IE (iexplore.exe).

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
