PC asks for Dell Resource CD every time I run app

Hello All,
Hoping someone can help here.

I have recently installed an app (my app that I have written) to a
customer's new Dell PC. The app installs OK, but whenever I run it it asks
for the "Dell Resource CD" to be installed. There is no reason that I can
see for this... The app has been installed widely in the field and we've
never had this issue before. It has been tested on clean xp and win2k
systems and works, so we can assume the app is installing everything it
needs. Even when I put the CD in it won't accept it and keeps prompting.
Clicking cancel to al message boxes will eventually allow the app to run
just fine.

Any ideas? I can't see why windows should be asking for this disk.

Thanks,
Ed.

I've had the same problem on my 2 Dell xp home computers. It's a Dell
program automatically installed on most Dells that have a conflict with
something else. I had to un-install this Dell program which I never used and
it fixed this. I don't remember what the name actually was. You should be
able to find it in add/remove. If you have a Dell directory, probably in
programs, look in there also.
