Pause - Back Action Buttons on AutoRun PwrPt Presentation???

I have created a PwrPt autorun presentation with player on CD so it
can be run pretty much idiot proof on most puters. I would like to add
a pause and back action button feature to each page so a viewer can
stop the run or even back up a page then resume play. Is this possible
and will it work on puters that don't have PowerPoint installed but
are viewing from the onboard CD player?
TYIA for any info and help you might share along these lines.

If by CD player you mean the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer, the answer is yes.
However, it is always prudent to test an autorun CD on as many systems as
possible, but minimally one or two that don't have any of the files and
don't have PowerPoint installed. However, there is no Pause function. If
you want the ability to Pause, the best approach would be to set the slides
to advance on mouse click and let the user control the pace of the
presentation. Other buttons can be set to go to Previous Slide, Last Viewed
Slide, and next slide. You can also link a button to any slide you want.
Go to Slide Show > Action Settings and look at the options available under
"Hyperlink to".

If you use Action Settings (Right-Click an object and
choose action settings), you can give the user navigation
options. The old Viewer does support these, and I believe
the new one does as well.

Thanks folks for the fine help. I believe I have a grasp of what's
going on now. Thanks again.
