Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture

Hey.

I was looking for some books about application architecture and came across
"Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture" by Martin Fowler.

Has anyone read this book? Is it still worth the read (as it has been
published in 2002) or are there other, more recent ones that would be better?

It's been a while since I read it. I consider it one of the best books on software design ever written. Check it out through your local library (or interlibrary loan) to read it before buying.
