Where does Windows 2000 hold the pathing information for each user?

I have some machines where the paths have grown miraculously massive
and need culling.

Control Panel / System / Advanced / Environmental Variables.

You could also find it with ease by doing this: Start / Help /
Search tab / type path / look up "Environmental variables".
There is a lot of help in Help!
