Path to Documents and Settings folder

Hi,

I have in the target device settings path provided as c:\XPe\Documents and
Settings

However when fba finishes and run time imgage is booted I find the Documents
and Settings folder at two different places
at c:\Documents and Settings
c:\XPe\Documents and settings.

it appears that start menu is using c:\Documents and settings and missing
all the shortcuts I provided under resources in TD. They are listed under
C:\Xpe\Documents and Settings and not visible on start menu.

Any clues what I am doing wrong. All the target device settings are with
C:\XPe\.... and Windows directory is under C:\XPe\Windows path

May I ask why are you setting the Documents and Settings folder to
c:\XPe\documents and settings?

Hi Sean,

I have been using this convention for a long time and in the past SP2 based
Images have same path (which has benn working fine. Now I am building images
with FP2007 included don't work. I have added shortcuts to start menu to set
static IP address which shows up under path C:\XPe\Documents and Settings\
All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup but the system is using directory
from path c:\Documents and Setting\....\Startup which don't have short cuts.
My target system is head less so If IP address is not set correctly the
remote desktop connection will not work.
Let me know If you need additional information.

If something was working prior to FP2007 and it is not working now, I

I got this problem too and must admit, I read the release notes of the
Feature Pack 2007 too superfically...

Thanks to Andy (MS) for pointing me to the solution:

So basically, the configuration setting is broken and we now have to set
the registry key manually to make it work.
