Path is too deep

I keep getting a message when I try to copy large files
over my network that say "cannot copy file: path is too
deep." I have searched everywhere for answers but have
found none. Both computers are running Win2k and have
plenty of hard drive space. Any suggestions?

You are limited to 260 characters in your complete path name

c:\winnt\blah. . . . . . . . \filename.doc cannot be longer than 260 total.
