Path=(InstallFolder)

I have a laptop that has been recently configured. Updated SP and patches.
My user was trying to use it from home and we noticed that the path variable
is set to: Path-(InstallFolder). I have never seen the path variable get
like that. Any ideas on how it might have occured and what is the best way
to get back to the correct path.
