Patchy text in presentation

Hi Jim,

It sounds likes a the font is defaulting to a generic, and
in this case pixelated, font. When you say you included
the TrueType font, does this mean you copied the actual
font to the CD (which would require the user to install
the font before the computer would recognize and use) or
did you embed the font in the presentation?

Is there any animation on the slides that exhibit the problem? That might
exlain fuzzy or jaggy text.

If you still have access to PowerPoint 2000, can you open the presentation in it
and save it to a new name? Then try it in slide show mode. If the text looks
good you could then try re-packaging it.

There is animation (a simple rotating logo) on all of the affected slides.
Now that we've identified the problem, is there a way to resolve it without
removing the animated logo. Also, it seems as though the bigger (and bold)
fonts don't show patchy like the smaller font size.
This problem doesn't significantly affect the hard drive copy of the
presentation. Only the copy packaged to CD.
Unfortunatly I no longer have access to PP 2000 so I cannot try your
suggestion.

Thanks for your help

Jim
