Hi None of the MS updates will remove the welchia worm, they will only stop the worm from infecting the computer (again). Be sure that MS03-039 is installed: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=824146 If IIS is installed on the server, be sure that either MS03-007 or MS03-013 is installed. MS03-007 http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=815021 MS03-013 (for Win2k, includes MS03-007) http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811493 Then you can run a cleanup tool, e.g. Stinger.exe from McAfee, it removes 30+ virus/worms in one sweep, including all MSBlaster variants (McAfee name W32/Lovsan.worm), Welchia (McAfee name W32/Nachi.worm) and Sobig.f McAfee AVERT Stinger http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
