Patches fail to install

Hi all,

I have 3 WindowsXP clients that fail on installing KB 840315, 841873 and
842773. After they failed to install through WindowsUpdate I downloaded them
one by one. When I run the installation I get the message "You don't have
permission......"
This happens whether I logon as a member of the Domain Admins as well as
loggin on as the local admin to the local box.

Does anybody have the same problems?

Hi,
Is the message:

Administrators Only
To install items from Windows Update, you must be logged on as an
administrator or a member of the Administrators group. If your computer is
connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from
completing this procedure...

If so, did you already look at the article:

"Administrators only" error message when you attempt to use the Windows
Update site

Is the error message:

"Windows Update Was Disabled by Your System Administrator"
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=326686


If the errors aren't the mentioned ones, please wrote the exact error
description.

Yes our whole office is the same way we are checking with
microsoft and our computer tech people.
