patch 1.07 for age of mythology wont work

To whom concerns

we i go onto age of mythology online the update downloads
then it installs and re puts me back into age of
mythology the multi player works thr=en but once i have
quit out and tried to get back into online multiplayer
again this message comes up (update needed)even thoe it
is already updated can someone help me out please.

Hi Abe,

I would make sure that you're using an administrators account
when installing the update, and do not run a firewall or more
importantly an antivirus program during the install to prevent
any possible conflicts in that regard. Hopefully that's all you
need to do, otherwise try the game update for those having
problems with the autopatch. It's available at this web page:
