Pasting PPT slides into Word?

I need to copy several slides from PPT into Word. I want the slides to
convert to normal text. I tried the "send to" option someone else had
mentioned but it only copied one slide into Word.

How can I copy all 42 slides from PPT into Word so they all copy at one time
and convert to text?

Hi Janet,

I use PPT 2003 and Word 2003.

Have you tried, when prompted after sending to Word, to select the
option "outline only"?

I find when I do this, all the content of my slides do appear in text
format. ( I don't get the 'speaker's notes' however).

I'm not sure if this would work with the versions of PPT and Word that
you are currently using, but it seems to work in the 2003 version.

I wish you the best of luck with this!

Oops, Janet, I forgot to mention that perhaps you could also try to
save your PPT presentation under SAVE AS and then select "Outline/RTF"
(RTF being Rich Text Format) as the file type, and save it to your Word
folder. I find that by doing this, it transfers nicely over as pure
text into Word, without a lot of extra formatting.

Karen:

Thanks for responding. Someone in the company found a way to convert it
other than the way I was trying. I have printed out your comments and will
try the steps one day when I have a few minutes.
