pasting 1 cell into merged cells

Is this possible at all?

I get an error: cannot change part of a merged cell.

Hi
this is one of the drawbacks of merged cells. Therefore try to avoid
these kind of formating
 
You can get around the error message by pasting into the function lin
above the worksheet.

Look for the fx just above your lettered columns,

click just right of the fx in the white line

and then press ente
