Paste Text As Style in PowerPoint?

I'm copying text from a Word document and I'm pasting it into
PowerPoint, but it's getting pasted in the style of Word and not the
style of my PowerPoint document.

Any way to do this?

OS X 10.3.3 Office 2004

Thanks!

Hello,
Don't know if this will help, in PPT choose Edit - paste special and paste
as unformatted text.

Thanks.

I tried that. It pastes it as Times Roman when I do that, not the font
that is set in PowerPoint.

I do not know which version of PPT you are using but if it is 2002/2003
there is a tiny icon that appears when you paste I think it is called paste
options, when you click on it you can choose between keeping the original
formatting or applying the formatting of the PPT design template.
