paste macro to a workbook code

how do i go about to copy and paste a given code to the 'workbook code'
 
If I understand what you are asking:

With the wokbook open, right-click on the Excel icon in the top left corner
of the window (the INNER icon for the workbook window, NOT the outer icon
for the Excel window. Select View Code. Paste the code into the code window.
