Paste a large text into a cell

I am pastng a large text (should take more that one line in a cell) into a cell that is designed as a Wrap text, Vertical allignment - Top. But text gets on a bottom of the cell and it's not wraped. If I check properties of that cell it's not wraped and Allignment is set to bottom
Why is that?
 
If you are pasting from another cell in excel, you will get that cell
formatting. Choose Paste Special | Values to get only the value.
