I am trying to open a database that was created and it keeps saying I need to
enter a password. I never set a password or anything. In fact, I was using
a different program and it saved it in the Access Database format. How can I
retrieve my information when it keeps asking for a password that I did not
set?

Asking for just a password (as opposed to a user name and a password) is often a
symptom of file corruption. This particular kind of corruption is usually not
recoverable. Try compacting/repair and then try importing the objects into a
new file. If neither of those work you might have to revert to your most recent
backup.

Additionally, before giving up, try downloading a trial version of one
of the password recovery programs. Access password protection is not
really very good....
