Password reset disc

I just got a XP SP2 machine which has no floppy drive(seemed like a good idea
at the time).
I tried to make a password reset disc only to discover it only works for a
floppy.
Is there a way to make a reset on a CD?

It was a good idea.
Yes - it only works for floppy diskettes.
There is no way - without a floppy diskette - to make a reset disk.. (That I
have found.)
