Password request on send and recieve?

How do I stop getting Outlook asking me when I send and recieve my mail, for
my network password. Hopefully someone will have had the same problem and can
give me a description of how to reslove this problem.

I am using Outlook 2002.
 
Hi Could you please let me know what kinda ccount are u working with pop3
or exchange if you have pop3
could you try the following and let me know if this works for you

.. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

Note In Windows XP, click Start, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click the Mail or the Mail and Fax icon.
3. Click Show Profiles, select the account that you are troubleshooting,
and then click Properties.
4. Click the E-mail Accounts button.
5. Confirm that the View or change existing e-mail accounts check box is
selected, and then click Next.
6. In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, select the account that you are
troubleshooting, and then click Change.
7. Under Logon Information, enter the password, and then click to select
the Remember Password check box.
8. Click Next, and then click Finish.
9. Start Outlook, and then use the Send and Receive command to test if your
password is retained.
