Password Protection

Is it possible on MS Access 2000 to password protect different forms and
reports?

I currently have a database which I want to password in three tiers. There
will one tier of users who can access all forms, one tier that can access a
certain amount of other forms and another tier where users can only access
specific forms about themselves.

Is this possible? How are the passwords managed? In a table?

This is normally done by assigning users to workgroups. Each workgroup has a
defined set of rights including access to forms, erports, etc.

The implementation of this is too complex to discuss in this forum. You can
check the online documentation as there is a chapter about it. If that
leaves you more confused than ever, hit the bookstore as a number of books
out there discuss this at length.
